HONU OHANA - KEIKI SHORT SLEEVE

Part of our Ocean Series, our shirt design of the Honu Ohana, is our salute to the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. These turtles are native to Hawaii and are the largest hard-shelled sea turtle in the world, reaching lengths of four feet and weighing over 300 pounds. Out of the seven types of sea turtle, the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle is the most common in Hawaiian waters.

Thought to live between 60 and 80 years, the Honu is a symbol of longevity, safety, and mana (spiritual energy) in Hawaiian culture and their presence brings good luck and peace. The Honu is considered a form of ‘aumakua or ancestral spirit offering lifelong protection, wisdom and guidance.
